Biography: 

   KEVIN D BARRY born 1984 in Leesburg, FL. attended Leesburg High School where he took four years of drafting courses that focused on drafting technique and preesentation. During his time in drafting, Kevin was in an extracurricular club called TSA (Technology Student Association) where he competed with other high school students on drafting and engineering abilities.

 

   Following high school, Kevin attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL, where he graduated with a double major in English-Technical/Professional writing, and Communications, with a minor in Literature. Shortly after graduating from the University of South Florida, Kevin moved back to his hometown, and accepted a job as the new high school Honors English teacher. As part of his employment he also held the positions of head boy’s golf and soccer coach. In his years as a head coach he was able to take several golfers to districts and state. In addition, Kevin had the success of taking his boys soccer team to regional quarterfinals as a first year head boys soccer coach. In Kevin's final year of teaching, he was at a local private Christian school where he loved his job; but he began to realize that teaching was not the calling God had in mind for him.

 

   Kevin always had dreams of owning his own business, and when Kevin's older brother (a successful Architect in the Central Florida area) gave him the idea of As-Built services, it immediately struck his interest. At this point his brother went through an extensive process of teaching Kevin how to accurately measure and document existing conditions and develop detailed CAD drawings in preparation for establishing Barry As-Builts. 

 

   Kevin strives for greatness at everything he is a part of. He takes pride in all of his work and achievements, and brings these standards and expectations to Barry As-Builts. Kevin looks forward to providing high quality work for all of your upcoming As-Built needs.

 

Personal Life:

   Kevin enjoys playing golf as much as possible and spending time with his family and friends. In 2012 Kevin married Kristen Barry, who is a teacher at the local Christian private school where Kevin previously taught. He is a father of two boy's, Aiden and Brody Barry, who he enjoys spending as much time as possible with.
